Yahoo and CBS Radio have reached an agreement where CBS will allow Yahoo users to get around 150 radio stations free of cost. The partnership is expected to have its kick off in 2009, which will bring more benefits to the Yahoo users. Through this partnership, Yahoo users will get all information related to music, news and sports. 

The partnership with CBS Radio will expand the extensive media portfolio of Yahoo. The portfolio has a strong base of print and video providers from various categories. This will expand with the agreement, thereby becoming the best provider in Internet. It will bring a diverse collection of programs from music, news and sports programs for the massive audience of Yahoo. 

This movement from the part of CBS radio is considered to be a support for the streaming media. As a result, this will enhance the position of CBS Radio as the leading internet company in the internet. 

Audience will be offered a great exposure to more deep content. Advertisers will be able to get a more possible audience which will increase local as well as national sales. This has shown that internet and radio stations have reached a place where both of them work in close coordination and need each other. Hallmark and Google joining hands

The most recent news for the webmasters around the world is the partnership announced by Google and Hallmark. This was done on 3rd December 2008 for the bridging of the Hallmark programs with the Google TV Ads. This is expected to start by the beginning of 2009 and is expected to allow advertisers to get a reach among the TV audience through their ad programs. 

This partnership as noticed by the Hallmark Channel is a milestone in their journey towards success in advertising. Advertisers will be allowed to access the family friendly programs including entertainments, which cherish audiences throughout holidays, by means of the Google TV ad platform. 

Advertisers will be allowed to take advantage of the various innovative tools and the action based pricing. This will help them to get connected to and attract people from all parts of the globe, through the Hallmark channel. Pay will be done on the basis of the impressions which are generated by the ads and also on the control in which the context will reach their audience.

Advertisers against Google-Yahoo partnership

The association of advertisers is very much worried about the going to be partnership between Google and Yahoo. They have already given their concerns and anxieties against this, in public.

The most important matter that troubles them is the fact that, out of this partnership, the 90% of advertisement business will be in the hands of Yahoo and Google. They are afraid of the fact that, this will make the search engine market competition unhealthy. As per this partnership, they fears that, the chances of providing options to both advertisers and customers. This will slowly reduce the advertising quality. The advertisers will have to pay high rates for getting good quality advertisements.

As per this partnership, Google will allow the display of search results along with that obtained through Yahoo. Advertisers will have to struggle to get quality search engine advertising and marketing, once this is made possible. Slowly, the whole of search engine marketing will decline as a result of this.

Fearing this, they have already started questioning this partitioning and have started submitting complaints and taking actions to prevent this from happening.

Along with the various associations of advertisers, Microsoft also has raised their concern about this partnership business.
