Google Earth under threat of being banned
Google has been recently targeted once again for security violations. A group of Japanese lawyers and professors have warned Google to stop providing their street view service of various Japanese cities. They have also asked Google to delete the saved images with Google.
According to Yasuhiko Tajima, a professor from the Sophia University of Tokyo has told that they consider this as a deep violation of the basic human rights of Japanese. They consider it highly important to warn the society against the violation of privacy rights by an IT giant in an open manner. The privacy rights are the most important rights of citizens and the service of Google should not be a threat to these rights.
A campaign was conducted by the Japanese civilian group headed by Tajima. This wanted Google to stop the services of Street View from Japan. There have been recent cases filed against Google Earth and Wikimapia. These cases warn that through these websites, viewers are provided very detail and minute photographs and navigational coordinates of places.
This warning and ban of Google Earth and Street View might end up their services in various countries following this. Because of security constraints and issues, these could be banned in various countries.

This debate is also going on in India after the mumbai attacks. Especially after the news that the terrorist acquainted themselves of the new city from Google maps
Mumbia is good example. It is big world when the bad guys are trying to find a easy target.
Google Earth is great way for anyone to learn about a new area. It might save a little time for someone planning something in a new area but there are plenty of other options. Banning Google Earth would not make the world any more secure.
wtf
This issue is very old in India. When Google has launched Google Earth, It has shown the clear pictures of president house. I don’t think they have removed the old images. After the Mumbai attached this old issue is on fire.
It does good for everybody essentially but this issue makes it difficult through any bad guys do bad by it.
