Does Google Have Your Site Marked as Spam?
->
How can you tell if Google has your site marked as spam? One of the best indicators is that no matter what SEO efforts you do for your website, Google, Yahoo! and MSN refuse to index you.
The reasoning behind this is simple. Google employees view each web page and rates them all individually by the content that is published. If your content is duplicate content with nothing other than ads and the copied content, you can bet that you are marked as spam.
The best way for you to look at your website is to take off any duplicate content you have used and all the advertisements to see if there is anything with any real value left. If not it’s time to reevaluate your content to make sure you are offering your readers something they can’t find anywhere else. The search engines will have your site listed in the search results in no time and all the hard work you put into SEOing the site will finally pay off with lots of natural traffic.

Hi Mary I have to say I somewhat disagree with what you are saying about the Google employees this is picked up by Spiders not manually otherwise it would take years to check all the sites

I think at some point George they would have to have some human interaction with the websites.

Google employees do definitely watch sites or blogs AFTER (certain) spiders crawled around. Some blogs are even watched daily.
They are not the only one.
Other companies (like HP etc. ) are watching the web too.
One important point about Google is, that
the one that can get you complete visibility,
can also make you completely unseen.

Thanks for taking the time to comment wilbau, I appreciate your thoughts and would like to see what others think as well. Seems many people disagree with this, but I’m not sure they realize the power of Google.
